MISSION

Pickleball of Waterloo and Wellington Regions (POWWR) is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment, while facilitating the promotion, development and growth of the sport of Pickleball.

VISION

Pickleball of Waterloo Wellington Region aims to facilitate the sport of Pickleball in Waterloo Region and Wellington County for the enjoyment of all.

POWWR Memberships

In March 2021, POWWR became an Affiliated Club of Pickleball Ontario and Pickleball Canada.   By becoming a POWWR member, you will also become a member of Pickleball Ontario (PAO) and Pickleball Canada (PCO).  The Pickleball Canada National System enables you to register online for all three organizations with the convenience of online payment processing.  Membership provides access to local events and a variety of online pickleball resources, participation in sanctioned tournaments, as well as sports accident insurance.  For complete details regarding this insurance coverage, please refer to the Pickleball Canada website.  Membership will be on a calendar year basis (Jan-Dec), and by registering now, your membership renewal will not be until December 2022.

To become a member of POWWR, PAO and PCO, go to the Pickleball Canada website and select ‘JOIN-RENEW’ and follow the instructions.  When prompted for the province, select ‘Ontario’, and when prompted for the Club, select ‘POWWR – Pickleball of Waterloo Wellington Region’.  The cost to become a POWWR member is $10, and Pickleball Ontario and Pickleball Canada also charge nominal membership fees.

As always, all POWWR registration funds are used for POWWR events, equipment and court rentals to foster the game of pickleball.  As a non-profit organization, we take pride in all the volunteers that make these events possible.
